Pittsburgh is known for the bridges that cross over the three rivers. These bridges are double decked and some go into tunnels. Going through these bridges are a great way to see the beautiful downtown area of Pittsburgh. There are also suspension bridges that cross over the three rivers.
The three Rivers in Pittsburgh show Pittsburgh’s environmental change. The rivers were once polluted and now are extremely clean. Fish that once died out are now plentiful. Pittsburgh’s three rivers is the location for bass fishing championships and is registered by many pleasure boats in the area. The clean environment of these beautiful rivers makes it a wonderful place to visit.
While visiting this beautiful landscape, there are many activities that take place yearly such as powerboat racing, concerts, extreme water sports, beautiful fourth of July fireworks, as well as art shows and other festivals and events.
